This is the time of year in south Florida when the Royal Poinciana trees flower with a brilliant canopy of orange flowers. I had to pull the car over on a busy road in the Florida Keys to get a close up of this favorite flowering tree of mine. At the same time, I found a dive shop with the name Quiescence. This was a fun video on US 1 in Key Largo, Florida. I talked briefly about quiescent cells at the end of the video.
